Work with Us

The Dierdre Ware Foundation (DWFO) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a beacon of hope for those in need of spiritual, mental, and emotional support.
Grounded in purpose and powered by faith, DWFO partners with like-minded organizations to confront today’s most urgent challenges—from climate change to community instability. Through grassroots engagement and strategic communication, we educate, advocate, and activate solutions that promote healing, equity, and sustainability.

Jobs

At the Dierdre Ware Foundation (DWFO), we’re building a team of purpose-driven individuals committed to healing, equity, and community empowerment.

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States. Unless otherwise noted in a job posting, most roles are based at our Memphis, TN office and follow a hybrid work schedule of three to four in-office days per week, subject to executive approval. This policy may change based on organizational needs and in accordance with applicable laws.

Because we work directly with vulnerable populations and handle sensitive information, all staff must complete:

  • Local criminal history background check
  • FBI fingerprinting background check
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

We believe in professional growth and development. Staff in key program areas—including community outreach, training, and direct service—may be required to complete continuing education aligned with their roles, including workshops, certifications, and community engagement training.

At DWFO, we are more than a workplace—we are a mission in motion. If you're passionate about creating systemic change and ready to serve, we invite you to grow with us.
